The concept of war and its patterns are evolving day by day. In the meantime, with the emergence of complex networked societies as a modern platform for biopower, patterns of modern warfare are emerging. Hybrid warfare as one of the modern models of warfare can be processed in this format. The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been the target of all kinds of Western attacks. Therefore, the analysis of war models against the IRI is of great importance. In this paper, the hybrid war waged by the West against the IRI is processed based on the theory of network complexity. Strengthening the foreign policy analytical system of the country by explaining an effective framework for dealing properly with Western hybrid warfare, forms the main purpose of this study. The main research question is based on what framework can the Western hybrid war against the IRI be analyzed? In this research, documentary method has been used to collect data and by referring to reliable sources in this field, an attempt has been made to study and express different dimensions of the subject. Qualitative method with descriptive and analytical approach has been used to analyze the data. The research findings indicate that the hybrid war waged by the West against the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on the theory of processability. This model of warfare in multi-level and complex interactions in the physical realms and information environment leads to cognitive effects and affects the image process, perception and action of the target actor.
