Terrorism is one of the main variables affecting the security of the countries of the world, especially in the Middle East. The Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the southeast region of the country, is no exception to this rule, the security of which is highly affected by terrorism. Terrorist groups have pursued their own discourse and actions, based on which they have been able to draw their followers and acquire resources in these areas. One of these terrorist groups pursuing the technique of dialogue along with direct military action is the Jaish al-Adl[1]. Because of the need for a scientific and precise explanation of the insecurities formed in the eastern regions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, this research is aimed at investigating the discourse and actions of this terrorist group by employing the Fairclough (2001) model. In this investigation, the sources produced by this terrorist group will be studied. Besides the operational context, the operations of this group against security are based on their discourse. Insuring an efficient model of sustainable security in these areas is possible only when this group's anti-security discourse is identified accurately. The data is collected from the firsthand sources of the group and library resources. The research follows Fairclough’s critical discourse model. The research is based on the assumption that the social and ideological issues of Jaish-al-Adl group at the national and local levels are influenced by its lexical-grammatical and discourse values, and its anti-security performance is derived from its specific discourse elements and values whose indicators will be followed in the paper.
