The West-Asian region, and especially the Persian Gulf, has complexities that can no longer play a role in a hegemonic one. Transnational powers have relying on their regional partners in order to be able to implement their policies in the region and reduce the costs of direct presence and intervention in regional tensions. Among these partners, Saudi-Arabia and UAE are considered to be two important countries in regional cooperation for trans-regional powers due to their geopolitical position.
The UAE by pursuing policies such as; Concluding military treaties with Western countries and transferring military bases to them, playing an active role in the development of the US missile defense system in the region, holding a joint combat with world powers, the presence of UAE military in international missions, efforts to purchase strategic military equipment, diversification To the sources of military weapons, pursuing self-sufficiency policy in weapons production, military presence in regional crises, etc., seeking to increase influence in the West-Asian region and play a more vibrant role than its identity and become a limited regional power.
Using the descriptive-analytical method, this study analyzed the data and concluded that the UAE's military strategy is based on Western-doctrine and military policies, especially the USA, and is trying to increase the increasing power of the forces. By using all existing resources and capacities to play an effective role in regional policies the armed forces to transform the country's military forces into a modern wave army that relies on knowledge and technology especially in intelligence-artistic.
