Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the principles and goals of Iran's power balance policy in the Persian Gulf security network. The main question asks: What are the principles and goals of Iran's power balance policy in the security network of the Persian Gulf? The findings of the article show: Iran is trying to reduce concerns and resolve conflicts, along with the implementation of an interest-oriented policy and emphasis on building trust in the process of regional cooperation with the Persian Gulf countries. To prevent intra-regional tensions. Finally, when mutual trust is formed between members, mechanisms can be used to sign bilateral or multilateral agreements related to the security of the region. In the framework of this strategy, the Islamic Republic of Iran is trying to make the countries of the Persian Gulf region believe that;that, firstly, they do not face any security threat from Iran, and secondly, they believe that any kind of danger to the security of Iran is a danger and threat to the entire security of the countries in the region. Based on this, Iran relates the insecurity in the region to the existence of foreign forces. and considers the expansion of economic cooperation as a basis for the formation of regional cooperation and interactions. The method of writing a descriptive article is analytical.
