Presentation of a comprehensive information security model in digital media based on blockchain technology (Case study: political digital media)

Abstract
The aim of this study was to develop a comprehensive information security model for political digital media based on blockchain technology. The research adopted a mixed-methods approach with an applied-developmental purpose. Data collection involved qualitative library research and quantitative fieldwork. The population consisted of 29 digital political media managers and 56 blockchain experts, totaling 85 participants selected through a census method. In the qualitative phase, components related to two variables were extracted using the Meta-synthesis algorithm. In the quantitative phase, expert opinions were collected through the Delphi method and questionnaires. Results revealed that the key indicators forming the final model are organized into four main dimensions: governance of political data in the digital environment, transparency and security of political data within blockchain, technological infrastructure for securing political data, and interactions and communications in digital political contexts. The highest-ranked indicators included information confidentiality, resistance to hacker attacks, security of political social networks, and user authentication. The study recommends developing organizational policies grounded in blockchain and information security, establishing a committee for information security and emerging technologies, and enhancing the expertise of human resources.
