The Southwest Asian region has undergone significant geopolitical developments in recent years. Some Arab countries, under the influence of various factors such as Arab nationalism, internal and regional crises, the balance of power in the region, identity issues, the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the formation of Arab unrest since 2011, and finally the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 countries known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), have always had different positions against the Zionist regime, which stemmed from their national interests. Given the fundamental conflict that has existed between the Arabs and the Zionist regime since the establishment of the Zionist regime in 1948, the normalization of their relations has gained importance since the Egyptian peace treaty with the Zionist regime in 1978. This research, using a combined method, namely descriptive-analytical and library, as well as software analysis, has examined and discovered some of the consequences of the normalization of the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia. The main question of the research is: What are the factors affecting the normalization of the Zionist regime's relations with Saudi Arabia? And what are the defense and security implications for the Islamic Republic of Iran? The research findings show that the presence and influence of the Zionist regime in Saudi Arabia is in line with the realization of the regime's goals and based on the Ben Gurion Peripheral Doctrine in the region, which could have defense and security implications for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
